Immigration Paralegal/ Case Manager

We are a fast-paced Los Angeles-based immigration law firm. Our practice is primarily dedicated to O1 and EB1 visas but we also have a thriving family based immigration department.

We are seeking a full-time experienced Immigration Paralegal/ Case Manager to assist with adjustment of status and consular immigrant visa applications. Experience with non-immigrant visas is a plus but not required. Duties and Responsibility:

• Prepare and file petitions, applications, and responses for different types of immigrant and non-immigrant visas (I-485, I-130, I-765, I-131, DS-260)
• Effectively communicate with clients to assemble documentation and keep clients informed of case status.
• Prepare procedural information and document checklist for the client.
• Escalate issues to the attorney or supervisor when necessary.
• Manage cases effectively to make sure deadlines are met.
• Administer case management system, and track case status on a regular basis.

Qualification and Skills Required:

• 3+ years of hands-onexperience working on family and employment-based green card applications.
• Strong communication skills -- written and verbal
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize projects and strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work with interruptions
• Take ownership of his/her work
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Work Remotely:

• Possibility of working remotely 1 day per week after the training period.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
