SUMMARY:
The Senior Vice President-Financial Operations will play a crucial role in managing our company's financial activities with a keen focus on operational account balancing, profitability analysis, and the daily management of client funds in the Ampersand Align program. This position requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of financial principles, deposit aggregation processes, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will ensure the effective management of our clients' investments, guaranteeing full protection of funds through FDIC insurance or equivalent safety measures. As a key member of the management team, this role involves high-level decision-making, process optimization, and leadership responsibilities.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
 Oversee the daily operations of the financial department, ensuring accurate and timely posting and reconciliation of operational accounts in the ledger system.
 Implement and manage efficient processes for the tracking and management of incoming and outgoing deposits, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled.
 Conduct comprehensive profitability analyses to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and areas of concern. Develop and execute strategies to enhance financial performance and operational efficiency.
 Month-end reconciliation of the Ampersand Align program in collaboration with Chief Experience Officer.
 Ensure the protection of client deposits by managing investments in accordance with FDIC regulations or other ancillary products, maintaining full compliance with industry standards and legal requirements.
 Collaborate with the management team to develop financial strategies that align with the company’s goals, contributing to the overall growth and success of the organization.
 Develop and maintain strong relationships with banking partners, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders to ensure optimal operation of deposit aggregation activities.
 Monitor financial legislation, regulation, and industry best practices to ensure the company’s Financial Operations remain compliant and competitive.
 Lead, mentor, and develop the Financial Operations team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
 Prepare and present detailed financial reports to senior management, providing insights and recommendations to inform decision-making.
 Ensure that annual goals and objectives and service level agreements are met or exceeded, and company policies and procedures are followed.
 Direct process improvement initiatives within Operations department and lead a team to provide solutions as appropriate.
 Lead the review and negotiation of large and sometimes complex transactions, provide operational leadership to sales, and/or program management in structuring complex transactions, portfolio opportunities, to include coordination of pricing and documentation issues.
 Develop business process management standards flows and implements a methodology for continuous review of improvement identification.
 Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed above are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

 Strong understanding of financial principles, banking regulations (including FDIC insurance), and deposit management practices.
 Demonstrated ability to analyze financial data, prepare profitability analyses, and make informed decisions to enhance operational efficiency and financial performance.
 Experience in managing and safeguarding investment portfolios, with a thorough understanding of risk management principles and compliance regulations.
Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing team.
 Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with all levels of the organization and external partners.
 Proficient in financial software, databases, and MS Office, with a strong emphasis on Excel.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
 Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA) is preferred.
 Minimum of 7 years of experience in financial management, with a significant portion in a leadership role, preferably in a deposit aggregation firm or similar financial institution.
 Previous experience in building out and enhancing technology platforms required in an end-to-end, automated processing system.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
Traditional office environment with no unusual work conditions.

 Prolonged periods sitting at desk and working on computer.
 Frequent use of keyboard with repetitive motion of hands, wrists, and fingers.
