Description of AXA Internal Audit
The Group’s Internal Audit function provides the Group Audit Committee and the Group’s Management Committee with independent and objective assurance on the effectiveness of internal control and risk management across the Group. The Group Head of Audit reports to the Chairman of the AXA Group Audit Committee with an administrative reporting line to the Group’s Deputy Chief Executive Officer & Group General Secretary. Group Internal Audit operates across all AXA regions and comprises around 500 members of staff.
The Corporate Centre Audit team is made up around 50 auditors covering the Group’s corporate functions and central activities including the Group reinsurance programme and IT service provisions. The team is located in two sites in Paris, with:
- One part in the Group’s headquarters, under the Global Head of Finance and Risk Audit, focusing on business, finance and risk matters and providing specialist actuarial support to entity Audit teams, and
- The other based with AXA GO, under the Global Head of IT Audit, focusing on IT and operations and providing specialist IT support to entity Audit teams.
Primary missions:
- Assisting the team and its directors
- Proactively taking care of office administration matters
Key accountabilities:
- Assist the Corporate Centre Audit team in:
- Organizing and scheduling meetings, committees and related logistics
- Organizing team building events
- Organizing travel
- Organizing conferences and town hall meetings
- Managing ad-hoc requests from auditors
- Office administration:
- Managing all IT-related and office maintenance requests (SILVA, local support service requests, etc.)
- Managing the joiner and leaver process (SILVA, helping to welcome and integrate new team members, etc.)
- Ensuring the Group Directory is up to date for the team
- Managing invoices related to the department (COUPA)
- Business Continuity Plan correspondent
- Participating in occasional office moves and layout planning
Your Profile
Background and experience:
- At least 5 years of previous experience as a personal or team assistant
- Experience of working in an international context
Skills and competencies:

- Ability and desire to keep learning, to understand the work context and be curious about how tasks fit within this wider context/organisation
