- Schedule surgical procedures for patients, ensuring all necessary information is collected and documented accurately
- Coordinate with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to schedule surgeries at appropriate times
- Verify insurance coverage and obtain any necessary authorizations for surgical procedures
- Communicate with patients regarding their surgery schedule, providing them with all necessary pre-operative instructions
- Maintain electronic medical records and update patient information as needed
- Assist with administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, and filing paperwork
- Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure smooth and efficient scheduling processes
```Qualifications:```
- Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar administrative role is preferred
- Proficiency in using dental software such as SIS or EClinical is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to provide excellent patient service
- Knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with surgical procedures is a plus
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
