```Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Technician to join our IT team. As a Desktop Support Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting for desktop systems and software applications. Your expertise in network administration, Linux, and IT support will be crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our organization's technology infrastructure.
Duties:
- 12-month assignment likely to be extended or converted based on the performance and budget.
- Shift: Mon-Fri – 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Programming of mobile and portable radios, and infrastructure (training will be provided).
- Organize and pack radio kits for shipment.
- Data entry into MS Excel spreadsheets and MS Word forms to include barcode scanning.
- Equipment Unloading/loading of pallets.
- Pick and pack radio system parts/kits for customer specifications.
- Assist with stock take and maintaining accuracy of subscriber inventory.
- Assist with receiving, handling and dispatching subscriber goods coming into, or going out of the facility.
- Must be able to login to computers, update info on a spreadsheet (Excel and/or Google Sheets), and/or update data in the systems (homegrown system) - must be able to follow instructions. Customer-facing experience.
Qualifications:
- HS Diploma/GED required. Associate Or Bachelors is preferred.
