- SAIC is currently seeking a Printer/PC Support Technician to support the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Revolutionary IT Services (RITS) program to troubleshoot and configure Network Printers/Local Printers, and complete a light volume of PC Support requests.
NOTE: This position is a Fully On Site.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Perform all functional checks, troubleshooting, operational and administration tasks on managed network and local printers.
- Coordinate relevant support and troubleshooting activities with department partners and vendors. This will include coordination with both private sector vendors and other Government agencies.
- Manage PC Loaner inventory of 20+ devices. To include imaging and maintaining the machines, tracking inventory, and ensuring the devices are checked-in and out according to policies and procedures.
- Assist with imaging and PC Refresh efforts as ticket volume permits.
Qualifications
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelors and (2)+ years of experience; additional four (4) years of experience accepted in lieu of degree
- Solid understanding of network printers, ability to troubleshoot issues, and resolve problems.
- Experience updating printer firmware.
- Experience with imaging computers, installing updates and software, and joining machines to a Domain.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and managing asset Lists and inventories.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS
- Must have a current A+ CE
REQUIRED CLEARANCE
- Must be able to obtain a full Secret Clearance; Interim Secret required prior to start, SAIC will help to obtain
- Must be a current US Citizen
