As a Operations Support Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our coffee, water, and pantry service routes. You will be responsible for providing on-the-ground support to our route operations teams, optimizing efficiency, and upholding our commitment to outstanding customer service. This position requires frequent travel to various locations within our service network.
Key Responsibilities:
- Route Optimization: Analyze route efficiency and identify opportunities for optimization to maximize productivity and minimize costs.
- On-site Support: Visit client locations to provide hands-on support to route drivers and service technicians, ensuring adherence to company standards and procedures.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct regular inspections of equipment, products, and service delivery to maintain high quality and consistency across all routes.
- Training and Development: Train new route personnel on company policies, procedures, and best practices to uphold service excellence.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with clients and address any service-related issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels at client sites and coordinate replenishment as needed to prevent stockouts and ensure uninterrupted service.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including food safety, health, and sanitation standards.
- Reporting: Generate reports on route performance, customer feedback, and service metrics to inform decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, or a related field (preferred).
- Previous experience in route operations management, preferably in the food service or hospitality industry.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic recommendations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with team members and clients at all levels.
- Proven leadership abilities and the capacity to motivate and inspire a team.
- Flexibility to travel extensively within the assigned service area.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
