Support Center Pharmacist - Night Shift

Consonus Pharmacy is a closed-door long-term care pharmacy specializing in the needs of nursing facilities, assisted living residents, and their caregivers. We are currently hiring a Support Center Pharmacist to join our Night Shift team!
As the Support Center Pharmacist, you will provide customer support for all Consonus Pharmacy locations outside of regular pharmacy hours. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Ensuring compliance with appropriate Pharmacy laws and standards of practice in all states where Consonus operates
• Providing pharmacist oversight for Night Shift team, supervising pharmacy technicians as needed
• Obtaining emergency orders when necessary, by contacting prescribers and collaborating with other healthcare professionals
• Providing excellent customer service and support one call resolution
• Assisting technicians with first line phone answering, documenting phone calls per standards
• Participating and complying with Consonus Quality Assurance program
• Providing ongoing feedback and suggestions for/on standard work, processes, and service levels that will have a direct impact on Night Shift workflow
• Conducting medication assessments, paperwork for drug monitoring
• Coordinating deliveries to ensure timely arrival of medication & supplies
• Answering facility's drug-related questions/concerns, assisting in solving problems
• Assistance in drug procurement; processing orders
• Maintaining awareness of current controlled substance laws and regulations, along with Consonus Pharmacy policies and procedures

• B.S. Pharmacy or Pharm. D. degree from an accredited School of Pharmacy
• Current Oregon Pharmacist license
• Ability to obtain licenses in states where Consonus operates within 1 year of hire
• Strong computer skills, including utilizing multiple monitors and software platforms at one time
• Ability to work overNight Shifts, including rotating weekends and holidays, while maintaining a positive attitude
• Experience with compounding and product verification of sterile products preferred
