Weyerhaeuser's Wood Products Supply Chain Organization is seeking a motivated, supply chain focused individual to join our team. The successful candidate will provide supply chain expertise within our Wood Product's Softwood Lumber business, while building strong working relationships with customer service, manufacturing, sales, and suppliers. The role will work under the direction of our Western Lumber Product Manager.
Location: This position can be based out of Seattle, WA or Hot Springs, AR.
The right candidate will have the skills and knowledge to provide excellent supply planning support and strategy execution, and a personal drive to grow within the role through increasing responsibility within our Supply Chain team or a number of other opportunities within the Wood Products business. This role has growth potential and would be a steppingstone to future opportunities within Weyerhaeuser. Willingness to relocate for position opportunities and/or cross-business development.
Key Functions:
- Optimize weekly mill performance with consideration of overall mill system capacity. Identify trends, and improvements for future production schedule to meet business and customer commitments.
- Works independently to effectively problem solve issues including production, order file, transportation, and inventory. Provides recommendation and guidance on recovery action plan.
- Reconcile performance of previous week and balance the impact as it relates to future weeks: supply, demand, inventory, and transportation
- Regularly and effectively communicate both oral and written to a broad audience including mill and business leaders, supply chain, operational teams
- Helps to maintain/improve supply planning SOP's and training documents.
- Provide input to the weekly and quarterly o9 supply planning and scheduling processes to improve OTS, and forecast accuracy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Strong computer/analytical aptitude/advanced MS Office skills.
- Power BI/SQL experience or equivalent
- OpX/process improvement/lean mindset
- 3-4 years supply chain or wood products experience
- ERP experience, preferably SAP
- Ability to travel
Prerequisite:
- 4-year Degree - preferably Supply Chain Management or Business
Desired:
- Interest or experience in Wood Products industry
What We Offer
Compensation: This role is eligible for our annual merit-increase program, and we are targeting a salary range of $65,000 to $97,400 based on your level of skills, qualifications, and experience. You will also be eligible for our Annual Incentive Program, which offers a cash bonus targeting 5% of base pay. Potential plan funding may range from zero to two times that target.

Paid Time Off or Vacation: We provide eligible employees who are scheduled to work 25 hours or more per week with paid vacation for up to 3 weeks to use during your first year of employment. In addition, after being employed for six months, eligible employees begin to accrue vacation for future use. We also recognize eleven paid holidays per year, providing a total of 88 hours along with paid parental leave for all full-time employees
