Kiewit is seeking a professional to execute transactional buying activities for an organization with construction projects across North America. This position is part of the Kiewit Supply Network and operates as a Site Buyer in Orange, TX.

Orange, TX
- Work closely with field staff to purchase the highest quality materials at the lowest possible cost.
- Support the Site Purchasing Manager, including preparation of purchase orders, solicitation bid proposals, review requisitions for goods and services, expedite ordered materials, and work with Accounting to assist with invoice payment
- Learn processes around the research and evaluation of suppliers based on price, quality, selection, service, support, availability, reliability, production and distribution capabilities, and the supplier's reputation and history.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Power Point, Word, Excel). SAP Experience a plus
- Three to five years experience in an engineering and/or construction related role preferred
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, business, engineering, Supply Chain management, or equivalent degree or military experience a plus
