Job Description
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Manages inventory for Health System Center(s) ensuring inventory levels are maintained to sufficiently meet customer needs while remaining within budget.
- Identifies cost saving areas of opportunity related to the reduction of special order and non-contract purchases while working with Health System Management to develop strategic Supply Chain management goals and objectives.
- Responsible for reporting and analysis of inventory flow and makes recommendations to Health System Management.
- Ensures that all scheduled cycle counts are performed to maintain accurate inventory levels and proper replenishment patterns.
- Assists in the development of the Health System's supply budget departmental supply budget.
- Attends Supply Chain related meetings to include QBRs when required.
- Participates in special projects and performs other duties as required.

Specialized Knowledge and Skills:
Demonstrated work history of critical thinking, problem solving, effective communication and Customer service skills. Demonstrated ability to effectively utilize Windows based computer applications such as MS Office. Proven history of project management, multi-tasking, self-motivation and attention to detail.
Experience:
3-5 years of sales or Supply Chain experience, previous management and/or supervisory experience preferred, healthcare environment preferred. High school graduation or equivalent, college degree preferred.
Travel/Physical Activities:
May be required to travel to various locations as needed. This position will be working in an office environment, utilizing typical office equipment. May be required to ship items and lift boxes 50 pounds in weight.

This position requires working onsite at a Baylor Medicine customer facility. The customer facility requires anyone onsite to be vaccinated against COVID -19 and the Flu.
