Are you a seasoned Supply Chain professional with a passion for optimization and a knack for building strong relationships? We're seeking a dynamic and results-oriented leader to join our privately held organization as our Supply Chain Solutions Leader located in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan along Lake Superior.

What You'll Do:
- Lead a high-performing team of Supply Chain professionals across various regions.
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans for domestic and international procurement.
- Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors, ensuring optimal cost, quality, and delivery.
- Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, building trust and collaboration.
- Leverage D365 ERP systems to optimize Supply Chain processes and data analysis.
- Oversee production scheduling and planning, implementing 1-piece flow principles.
- Drive continuous improvement through lean manufacturing practices. (Bonus points if you have experience!)
- Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives to improve profitability.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices, continuously seeking new ways to improve our Supply Chain.
What You Bring:
- Minimum 5 years of experience leading Supply Chain teams in a heavy manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record of success in sourcing, negotiation, and relationship building.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft D365 ERP systems or similar.
- Understanding of production scheduling, planning, and 1-piece flow principles.
- A passion for lean manufacturing and continuous improvement is a plus!
- Manufacturing engineering knowledge is a valuable asset.
- Ability to reside in a smaller upper midwest community were outdoor activities are abundant year round.
