Description:
As a Procurement & Supply Chain Specialist, you'll be responsible for managing all aspects of our company's Supply Chain. You'll liaise with external partners such as freight carriers, logistics companies, customers, and vendors, while coordinating internally with various departments including material planning, customer service, shipping/receiving, purchasing, and sales.
Responsibilities:
- Process outbound shipments, including domestic and third-party warehouse orders.
- Coordinate and track inbound purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery and accurate documentation.
- Facilitate transfers between manufacturing sites and third-party warehouses.
- Validate freight charges and support logistics-related projects.
- Assist in quoting truckloads and negotiating freight rates.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
- Maintain contact information in CRM/SRM database.
- Cross-train and provide coverage for critical functions in other departments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain management or relevant field.
- 3+ years of experience in Supply Chain (preferred).
- Hazmat certification in DOT, IATA, & IMDG (training provided).
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with perse stakeholders.
- Excellent prioritization and multitasking abilities.
