Responsibilities:
- Support divisional freight management in negotiations and implementations of forwarders.
- Continuously improve freight network and metrics related to freight performance.
- Plan and achieve OP targets for freight in EU region.
- Follow Div R and corporate Supply Chain and logistics strategy and directives.
- Implement Div R standard tools, systems and methods, improve data transparency and foster digitalization.
- Support Plant Logistics Managers and local freight managers in delivery and freight related problems
- Escalate and track issues and support crisis management.
- Perform on site assessments at supplier facilities to mitigate immediate supply risks and pursue process/performance improvements.
- Provide freight inputs for central functions, Sales, Purchasing, to support their decision-making process.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree required in Supply Chain Management, Economy, Business Administration or equivalent.
Qualifications:
- Requires 6+ years of progressive related experience.
- Minimum 2 years’ in SCM experience in global, multinational working environment, preferably in automotive industry.
- Strong communication skills, ability to work in cross-functional teams and deal with complex organizations.
- Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.
- Proven success in collaborative, team-oriented environment.
- Assertiveness, target-oriented and structured working methods.
- Excellent computer skills are MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI) and SAP required.
- English fluency.
- Travel may be required to fulfill this function (0% – 15%).
