The Pictsweet Company is growing! We are currently seeking a Supply Chain Manager to join our logistics team at the corporate headquarters in Bells, TN. This role will be responsible for developing an understanding of Pictsweet's customers at the operational level in order to streamline efficiencies for all parties throughout the Supply Chain and developing relationships with our customers' operational managers to remain innovative and proactive in daily management issues.

Responsibilities
- Company lead in OTR rail and intermodal transportation and execution.
- Supervise Traffic staff.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of Supply Chain management, by customer, from product in the field through the end user's consumption in the home or restaurant.
- Utilize the knowledge obtained in (3) to provide a plan for achieving the maximum Supply Chain efficiency for Pictsweet and the customer.
- Work with Pictsweet Sales and their contacts to implement Supply Chain solutions.
- Work with Pictsweet Customer Service Representatives, Production Schedulers and motor carriers to implement Supply Chain solutions.
- Work with Pictsweet and Customer Information Systems staffs to streamline the flow of order and product information between the parties.
- Analyze customer inventory turns to understand their ability and restrictions to purchase manufactured unit load quantities.
- Analyze order patterns by item for all customers to determine optimum unit load quantities.
- Take an active role in resolving issues at the operational level through relationships with customers' management.
- Company lead in bulk and finished goods corrugated container purchasing.
- Responsible for procurement and execution of the leased pallet program for the company.
- Recommend the strategic use of third party logistics providers (3PL) in a region.
- React to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned
- Perform all other duties appropriate to the position as requested by the supervisor
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business or related field
- Four years minimum experience in Supply Chain Management & Traffic
- Strong PC skills and a working knowledge in Microsoft Office
- Ability to work well in a changing environment
- Excellent communication skills across various management levels
