  • Mobility Services – this includes autonomous and on-site fleet lease services.
  • Mobility Sales – this includes sale of new products through brick-and-mortar retail, online, and alternative product distribution channels.

Job Title:
Senior Operations Manager, Supply Chain
Location: Nashville, TN
Reports to:VP, Operations

As the Senior Operations Manager, Supply Chain, you are responsible for the daily operations of the Nashville, Las Vegas and Winnipeg, CA locations. This responsibility includes, integrating the department’s inbound/outbound logistics, Order Planning, Goods in Storage, Outbound warehousing, After Sales Support and Order Fulfillment of Mobility Equipment. You will also develop/implement policies and procedures, assess and improve department performance, and ensure orientation and continuing education of departmental staff as assigned.

Responsibilities
:
  • You will lead and manage all facility (Nashville, Las Vegas & Winnipeg, CA) Supply Chain and After Sales Support activities.
  • You will manage the profit and loss of each facility assigned.
  • You will execute the infrastructure project plan for the facility. This includes the implementation of the standardization programs for all Supply Chain functions, SMART cleanup, master file standardization, online requisitioning, and EDI.
  • You will facilitate the implementation of market-based purchasing projects at the facility.
  • You will execute the implementation and operational plan for all the point of use systems.
  • You will coordinate and drive efforts to enable supply improvement initiatives (SII) to succeed within each facility assigned.
  • You will facilitate the standardization of products and optimize supply utilization through effective collaboration with internal/external customers.
  • You will manage the facility implementation plan, identify, and mitigate risks, and monitor resource allocations to ensure the successful execution of plan.
  • You will execute the Supply Chain Performance Measurement plan at the facility and report these results to the Director of Supply Chain Operations.
  • You will actively seek ways to control costs without compromising your team member’s safety or the quality of the products and services delivered.
  • Plan and direct the activities of the logistics operation (Central Receiving, Mail Room, Inventory Management, Surplus) and company Fleet Management program.
  • Plan, issue, and monitor the job assignments given to staff. Including, but not limited to receiving and attempting to resolve employee complaints and grievances.
  • Interview, train, and evaluate new employees.
  • Record, compile, and verify timecards and sheets.
  • Responsible for purchasing all materials and supplies for the facilities assigned and support of logistics initiatives for improvement projects.
  • Ensures agreements/contracts are reviewed by internal stakeholders, as necessary.
  • Review and analyze business processes to enhance efficiency and meet expectations.
  • Provide leadership in process improvement solutions, as necessary.
  • Ensure that a consistent repeatable demonstrable process exists for Logistics Department services with a focus on best practice policies and procedures that govern Logistics activities with a focus on customer service.
  • Perform vendor analyses to continually monitor costs of maintaining inventory, replenishing inventory, and as-needed purchases for the Logistics Department.
  • Effectively administer all budgets for the Logistics Department under the purview of the Director of Supply Chain.
  • Approve expenses up to the level of authority.
  • Assist the Director in acting as liaison between purchasing, receiving, accounts payable, and finance to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • In the absence of the Director, provide oversight to all Department staff.
  • Hires and trains departmental supervisors.
  • Oversees the daily workflow and schedules of the department.
  • Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
  • Manage employee performance and conduct, which includes, constructive counseling & Feedback and enforcing disciplinary process in accordance with company policy.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications:
  • A bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, Management, or equivalent is required.
    Five years (5) of related logistics experience providing a working knowledge of shipping, receiving, mail services, surplus property inventory, other warehousing functions, and ERP systems is required.
  • Three years (3) of supervisory experience is required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with a proven ability to create and maintain positive working relationships with vendors, suppliers, shippers, and customers.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Thorough understanding of company products and logistics.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
