What is AST Academy?
Being hired into the AST Academy is a great opportunity for fresh or recent college graduates to become trained in and build a career in Cloud consulting. You'll begin with 120 days of fully paid training, where you'll learn business, consulting, technology, and delivery methodology skills in Cloud Consulting. After 90 days, you'll begin applying what you've learned, working under the guidance of a mentor until you can work on your own. Our AST consultants are experts in the most powerful and cutting-edge solutions and opening the door for new minds in technology is a key differentiator in our industry as a global systems integrator.
What You'll Do:
Attend our formal, fully paid training at AST Academy which covers consulting 101, culture/professional development, business, and technical skills aligned to our client projects and technology solutions (Oracle, Salesforce, AWS, and more)
Shadow and support mentors on projects to apply and enhance your trained skills.
Learn how to consult clients on best practices and business solutions with the Cloud.
Bring fresh perspectives and innovation to the team.
After you've successfully completed AST Academy, you'll shadow senior consultants and work on AST's Cloud engagements, eventually becoming a full-fledged Oracle Consultant.
Your analytical, interpersonal, creative thinking, business management and leadership skills will be called upon from day one. You will begin by learning what we do and how we do it and then be placed on interesting and challenging projects, as you work side by side with some of the best in the business.
You'll use your education and skill set to open new doors you might never have known existed and join a team of talented and amazing people, who are changing the way businesses work in challenging and innovative ways.
What You'll Bring:
A positive attitude and ambition to learn.
Minimum 6 months experience in a Logistical or Supply Chain related field
A passion for innovation and making an impact with technology to create a more sustainable future.
Bachelor's and/or Master's degree from an accredited university in Supply chain or a business related field
Experience in or exposure to MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Teams)
High level of integrity and ability to work in diverse teams fostering trust.
Communication and facilitation
Solid reading and writing Skills
Ability to problem solve and look for ways to continuously improve.
Must have authorization to work permanently in the US without sponsorship now or in the future for this position.
Ability to travel 60% of the time if/when needed by clients.
Must be available to start in early January, 2023.
