WE CURRENTLY HIRING FOR A BOTOX COORDINATOR WITH PATIENT AND INSURANCE INTERACTION AND A HEAVY EMPHASIS ON ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES HANDLING DELIVERY OF NEUROTOXINS: BOTOX, XEOMIN, MYBLOC, AND DYSPORT; MEDICAL TRAINING/EXPERIENCE IS NOT NECESSARY TO BE CONSIDERED.

***COLLEGE GRADUATES AND CANDIDATES INTERESTED IN MEDICAL, PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT, NURSE PRACTITIONER, OR NURSING SCHOOL ARE HIGHLY ENCOURAGED TO APPLY AS A BOTOX COORDINATOR CANDIDATE.

We are a team-oriented and fast-paced office looking to hire a full-time employee. The BOTOX COORDINATOR POSITION is an entry-level position designed to focus on botox approvals for neurological indications. The Botox Coordinator will cross-train in other administrative and medical roles to support the clinic. The position involves interacting with patients, health insurance companies, and other physician offices.

All candidates must complete the online questionnaire to be considered. No candidate will be considered with a partially completed questionnaire. Please answer all the questions. Virtual interviews will be scheduled late in the afternoon, after hours, and on weekends if necessary.

 

Primary responsibilities for the BOTOX COORDINATOR POSITION include:

* Communicating with insurance companies regarding details for botox authorization

* Correcting and resubmitting prior authorizations to insurance with appropriate documentation

* Coordinating and scheduling treatment dates for the authorized procedure

* Processing and completing correspondences with supporting documentation

* Counsels patients about the botox, process, and patient assistance program

* Faxing completed notes to referring physicians 

* Reviewing claims for processing


Secondary responsibilities for the BOTOX COORDINATOR POSITION include supporting staff through:

* Taking ownership of assignments to improve patient experience and satisfaction by attending to prescription refills requests, patient care coordination, and acting on communication with the practitioners.

* Supporting scheduling and patient intake 

* Support practitioners and senior medical assistants with procedures, including skin biopsy, headache injections, and botox reconstitution.* Providing and collecting consent forms for procedures.

 

* Secures patient information and maintains patient confidence by completing and safeguarding medical records; keeping patient information confidential.

* Maintains a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing and following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.

 

Ideal candidates are meticulous and detail-oriented. The candidate must be able to multitask while working in a fast-paced environment.

Scheduling requirements 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM Monday - Thursday; 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM Friday, with five Fridays requiring a 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM schedule.

The selected candidate will serve a ninety (90) calendar day introductory period. After the introductory period is completed, you will be eligible to earn up to 10 paid days of personal time off and five paid holidays. Individual and family insurance is available at the candidate's expense.
