Position Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Manager of Supply Chain for our New Business Ventures division. As the Manager of Supply Chain, you will be responsible for developing and executing operational excellence and cross-functional collaboration to support the successful launch and growth of new business ventures. You will play a critical role in designing new, and bridging to existing, Supply Chain processes while driving operational excellence, optimizing costs, and ensuring the highest level of quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Excellence: Drive operational excellence across the new business ventures Supply Chain by standing up efficient and repeatable Supply Chain business processes. This includes leveraging CBI resources, systems and processes already in place, as well as designing and standing up stand-alone processes tailored to NBV's needs and scale. These processes include demand planning, procurement, production, logistics, and inventory management. Implement best practices, process improvements, deliver all critical information into Import business S&OE process and performance metrics to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Supply Chain Planning and Execution: Responsible for designing and ultimately overseeing execution of Item Set up, Distributor-Item Depletions forecasting, Distributor-Item Sourcing, Deployment parameters, CTVs, Stage Gate meetings. Supporting the monthly S&OE process and executing Production POs, Deployment coordination
  • Contract Manufacturing Partnerships: Support the VP of NBV Supply Chain to identify, evaluate, and establish strategic partnerships with contract manufacturers that align with the company's quality standards, capacity requirements, and cost objectives. Manage relationships to ensure seamless collaboration and successful execution.
  • Supplier Management: Support the creation of the supplier selection, qualification, and performance management processes for contract manufacturers. Establish strong relationships with contract manufacturers, monitor their performance, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to ensure adherence to quality, delivery, and cost targets.
  • Risk Management: In partnership with the VP of NBV Supply Chain, support identifying and mitigating potential risks in the Supply Chain, including supply disruptions, quality issues, and regulatory compliance. Develop contingency plans and implement robust risk management strategies to ensure business continuity and minimize potential disruptions.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Based on strategy set forth by the VP of NBV Supply Chain, collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including R&D, Growth, Quality, Procurement, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing, to ensure seamless integration of Supply Chain activities with new product development, market launches, and business expansion plans.
  • IT/Systems Set-up: Support the setup of new manufacturing sites within CBI Systems. Manage new item set up for each site to receive materials from the qualified vendors. Ensure coverage on all other system maintenance for 3rd party management (i.e. Workday inputs, Ariba PO management).

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field/ work experience.
  • Minimum of 8-12 years of progressive experience in Supply Chain management, ideally with contract manufacturing experience.
  • Strong knowledge of contract manufacturing processes, including supplier selection, contract negotiation, and performance management.
  • Proven track record of successfully launching and scaling new business ventures, preferably in a contract manufacturing environment.
  • Deep understanding of Supply Chain best practices, industry trends, and emerging technologies.
  • Experience in developing and leading teams, both with direct reports and in cross-functional project environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

The salary range for this role is:
$90,100.00 - $138,100.00
This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, the prevailing minimum wage for the location, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. We offer comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees.
