If you're enthusiastic about working in an environment with a people-first culture and an organization committed to good living, good food and good service, we'd love to talk to you!Primary Responsibilities:The Manager of Supply Chain will lead a team of members that converts freight and manages margin and oversees an enterprise-wide Supply Chain view around managing more collect freight. Additional responsibilities include strategic planning, ad hoc problem solving and managing relationships with a diverse supplier community, a growing customer base, and all relevant internal departments. As with all positions at KeHE, we expect that all actions will be consistent with KeHE’s Mission, Vision, and Values.Essential Functions:- Leads a team of members that will be focusing on freight conversations and margin management.
- Collaborates with the Director team to influence department strategy and create yearly targets (SMART goals).
- Ability to translate strategic goals into specific actions and team objectives.
- Works to maximize conversion and margin within the KeHE Inbound space.
- Partners with supplier community and KeHE (warehouse, operations, buyers) teams to problem solve, streamline processes and to maximize customer satisfaction.
- Creates and fosters an environment of trust, teamwork, continuous improvement, accountability, and innovation.
- Drives strategic meetings, projects, and improvements with key vendors.
- Provide data driven insight and actionable feedback to key account teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, Logistics, or related field preferred.
- 5+ years of related Supply Chain experience desired.
- Minimum 3 years of experience directly managing people, including hiring, developing, motivating, directing work and setting priorities.
Qualifications / Additional Skills / Aptitude:- Outstanding analytic skills with demonstrated success organizing, analyzing, and accurately interpreting large amounts of data.
- Capable of influencing & educating organization on Supply Chain and freight conversations activities.
- High comfort level negotiating with suppliers and key business partners.
- Skilled presenter to senior management and executive level.
- Outstanding communication (both verbal and written) and relationship management skills.
- Ability to prioritize workload to have the most significant impact on customer satisfaction and performance to KPI’s.
- Prior experience in food and/or code sensitive product environment preferred.
- Experience with business intelligence tools like Power BI and Transportation systems.
