Form of workAbout the Position: The incumbent serves as the command's expert in Global Force Management (GFM) working semi-independently and in coordination with the USARNORTH Force Management action officers to accomplish a broad range of Global Force Management duties, located at Fort Sam Houston, Texas.Qualifications:
In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialize experience: one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service which includes directing staff actions and projects on Force Management and force-planning constructs to support the Department's strategic direction; Providing oversite generated to support rotational and emerging force requirements.
You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:
