Sr. System Debug Program Manager & Power BI Developer - Data Scientist
THE ROLE:
We're hiring a self-driven engineer with Strong Program Management skills and supporting experience in Data Analytics. The candidate will work on AMD's EPYC portfolio delivering direct prompt support for Server Product Debug Lead in all their daily Silicon Systems Validation & Debug activities. The ideal candidate will hold a ECE, CE or CS degree & have experience in analyzing volumes of data to meet business needs and visualizing insights to tell a story and achieve actionable results. Excellent tracking & problem-solving ability dealing with JIRA, Power BI development delivering regular timely assistance will round out the ideal candidate. This candidate will also have experience creating predictive models.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide program management assistance in scheduling debug discussions, summarizing brainstorms, creation of weekly reports.
• Collaborate with validation & debug teams to perform initial disposition of failures, follow up on debug direction & results of DOEs.
• Follow debug processes & maintain database coherency for qualitative issue tracking through closure.
• Maintain strong acumen in process driven transformation to optimize debug management efficiency.
• Deliver analytics and insights from data leveraging Cloud tools and techniques - to create and maintain power BI dashboards.

• Curation of data when needed and writing of complex SQL/JQL queries, MongoDB aggregation, etc.
• Implement process improvements (Automation, Query and Model optimization)
• Articulate requirements to improve BI / JIRA infrastructure to IT team and follow through to completion.

• Work alongside the BI team in all layers of BI instance - including (but not limited to) data transformations, data modeling, implementation, documentation, monitoring, optimization, and troubleshooting
• Develop multiple BI data model(s) from prototype to production in parallel to support organizational BI goals

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• 3+ years of experience in Post-Si validation - triage, debug on Client, Server or GPU with foundational knowledge of system architecture, technical debug, and validation strategy
• 2+ years of experience in program management
• 3+ years developing, and deploying scalable Business Intelligence data solutions with Tableau, Looker, Sigma, Power BI, Excel or similar BI tool
• Programming/scripting skills (e.g.C/C++, Perl, Ruby, Python, Excel)
• Must have - Strong experience in Experience with JIRA management, MongoDB, SQL database
• Demonstrated ability to communicate data insights and model results in business terms and articulate business value. Expertise in modeling different scenarios and simulations
• Demonstrated understanding of typical data science techniques such as classification, regression, and optimization to solve business problems
• 3+ years with Python and Jupyter Notebook, or other modeling tools
• 3+ years working with business users to understand and document their needs
• Strong analytical/problem-solving skills and pronounced attention to details
• Must be a self-starter, and able to independently drive tasks to completion
• Excellent written and oral communication skills

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience, in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics or a related field. Commensurate work experience will be considered in lieu of degree
