Duties
As a Management and Program Analyst, GS-13 you will perform the following duties:
  • Directing, implementing, coordinating, and overseeing a major segment of department-wide mission or administrative program.
  • Develop and evaluates policies in assigned program areas, takes or recommends actions to achieve organizational objectives, and recommends future program objectives and improvements.
  • Ensure that accurate, appropriately concise and timely information is available to Management and policy officials.
  • Plan, develop and coordinate planning management through briefings, presentations and conferences for executive management.

  • Probationary Period: This is a full-time permanent position (Career/Career-Conditional appointment). Upon appointment to this position, you may be required to serve a one-year probationary period.

You qualify for the GS-13 grade level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience at the GS-12 grade level or equivalent performing duties such as:
  • Planning and conducting special studies, providing advice to managers, developing, and evaluating studies or task forces and aiding headquarters and field offices.
  • Coordinating activities of office support staff, advising, and providing analytical support on problem definition, planning, methodologies, policies, and procedures.
  • Developing polices, issuances, and directives.
  • Designing and administering planning and controls for submission of data, including budgetary and Program resource requests and decisions.
