To lead, instruct and schedule assigned area employees. Supervise employees performing a variety of tasks to build, pick, pack and fulfill kits consisting of disks, CDs, manuals, and/or literature according to instructions given by customer, with concern for accuracy and completeness. Take an active role in the production scheduling process, estimating, labor analysis, and line layout as it relates to manufacturing.
- Plan, organize and assign daily work requirements.
- Assist in the instruction and training of personnel to achieve established standards of job performance.
- Review, check and inspect work of others to ensure quantity and quality standards are being accomplished.
- Assist in developing the processes necessary to compare actual assembly rates and output with estimates and projections used to monitor and regulate labor costs. This includes providing the tools and resources needed on the assembly floor to allow the leaders to be proactive in measuring results.
- Prepare and/or maintain required logs, reports and records as assigned by management.
- Recommend changes or methods to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Use computer terminal for inventory look-up and information.
- Apply labels, tags and packing slips for inventory shipments.
- Communicate and observe all company rules including housekeeping and safety requirements.
- Will require occasional overtime hours during the week or weekends to meet shipping objectives.
Qualifications:
Possess leadership skills, multi-tasking skills, technical aptitude and excellent communication skills.
Be organized, detail oriented and quality conscious with a proactive attitude.
Possess good math competency.
Some lifting is required; must be able to lift at least 25 pounds.
Must have valid PA drivers license, reliable transportation and excellent attendance record
