Position Summary
The Nutrition Informatics Dietitian Supervisor serves as the system administrator for the food management system (CBORD software) used in patient meal service, Kootenai Café and food service production. Works collaboratively with clinical nutrition, Executive Chef and culinary team in the development and modification of therapeutic menus for patient meal services and the continual development of healthy menu items for both patient food services and the Kootenai Café. Responsible for supervising room service call center operations including the Nutrition Technician team, Hospitality Services Associate team, and monitoring the department's performance with respect to timeliness, accuracy, compliance, competencies, and overall customer service.
Responsibilities
• Supervises all effective operations of the CBORD software and associated applications used by Hospitality Services
• Maintains application databases where applicable, performs training, and acts as a subject matter expert when questions surface
• Acts as a primary point of contact for resolving system issues and appropriately escalates problems to IT and vendor(s) as needed
• Performs duties in support of and in compliance with DNV, performance improvement plans, infection control, and licensing, accrediting and regulatory agencies
• Leads the work of the work of others
• Reviews and evaluates the work and performance of subordinates
• Conducts quarterly check-ins and annual performance reviews for direct reports
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
• Regular and predictable attendance is an essential job function
• Performs other related duties as assigned
• Competent to meet age-specific needs of the unit assigned
Requirements and Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Food and Nutrition, Dietetics, Human Nutrition or related field from an accredited educational institution required
• Licensed Dietitian (LD) by Idaho State Board of Medicine required
• Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) by Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) required
• Minimum 3 years related experience required
• 2 years' healthcare food service experience preferred
