Labeling Supervisor

Job Summary

The Labeling Supervisor works to fulfill orders in a timely manner with accuracy and quality output. Supervise labeling staff and the labeling area. Always working towards the improvement of quality in all operations. Will complete quality checks and report to the Quality Department as scheduled.

Essential Functions

Job duties include but are not limited to:

• Operate and monitor assigned machines to detect product defects and/or machine malfunctions.
• Hand label bottles
• Machine label bottles
• Ensure bottles are properly sealed.
• Package boxes per order
• Properly examine bottles for accuracy
• Stacking product for shipping
• Troubleshoot issues related to product quality and machine performance.
• Complete all job-related documentation accurately and timely.
• Perform cleaning duties of workspace to maintain sanitary conditions before, during and after processing a new job.
• Ensure products are defect free and properly identified.
• Utilize hand tools, pallet jacks and other tools as required to perform essential job duties.
• Communicate directly with Supervisor concerning any discrepancies such as but not limited to: safety, quality, operations or health concerns.
• Works closely with the Quality Department to ensure checks are completed and recorded
• Supervisor Labeling Techs
• Monitor and maintain time and attendance for Labeling Techs
• Use inventory system to finish or stage orders
• Use email to communicate with others
• Participate in Employee counseling and meetings
• Maintain inventory and ensure it stays current
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

· Ability to communicate (English & Spanish) both orally and written to supervisors and other employees.

· Knowledge of general mathematics

· Ability to read English and understand invoices

· Ability to understand, follow and implement written SOP’s

· Ability to take criticism from multiple supervisors

· Ability to lift at least 50 to 75 pounds

· Ability to stand all day

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.00 per week
