The position is responsible for creating and maintaining a safe working environment, ensuring employees are trained in the proper safety procedures and performing their job functions accordingly to ensure on time delivery to the customers confirmed shipped date, managing overall costs of quality in relationship to castings produced. Additionally, the Production Superintendent is responsible for creating and maintaining an efficient and motivated workforce, providing leadership to operating departments to ensure compliance procedures and policies of the organization, managing purchasing and production scheduling to ensure integrity and overall spending as required by operations, and providing cost analysis of the metals market to the sales organization.
QualificationsTo be successful the candidate should have the following attributes, skills, or experience:
- B.S. Degree - in Business/Industrial Manufacturing
- Sand foundry experience
- A minimum of 8-10 years of foundry experience.
- High alloy ferrous base background
