Summer Receptionist

Job Overview:
Family-owned independent insurance agency in Bayville looking for full-time front desk / administrative employee for the summer. Summer hours are Monday to Thursday 9 to 5, Friday 9 to 3. No weekends. The position is open from May to September, but dates are flexible.

As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our company, providing exceptional customer support and ensuring smooth daily operations.

Duties:
- Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer and direct phone calls to the appropriate department or individual
- Maintain a tidy reception area, ensuring it is presentable at all times
- Provide general administrative support such as data entry, filing, and photocopying
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages

Experience:
- Previous experience as a Receptionist or in a similar role is a plus but not required
- Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work
