Studio Admin/Manager is responsible for the management of the personnel and daily operations of the Studio. who is organized and energetic with excellent interpersonal skills for our Kids STEM Studio location in Evanston. This position ensures that all instructors create an environment that encourages students to learn, experiment and grow. This position will help you make the most of your creativity and problem-solving skills.

About Us:
We’re a space where kids explore science, technology, engineering, and math through fun and highly educational hands-on activities. We offer weekly classes, after-school enrichment programs, day-off camps, week-long camps, and STEM-centric birthday parties. Kids ages 4 to 14 uncover the dynamic power and potential of STEM subjects through projects featuring Robotics, Engineering, Computer coding, Roblox, Minecraft and more.
Our hands-on programs engage students at every level, sparks creativity, develops critical thinking skills, ignites career possibilities — and is just plain fun!
Duties and Responsibilities
Managers are responsible for each staff member at the location as well as the happiness and satisfaction of our customers. Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Understand, promote, and demonstrate the Core Values of Kids Stem Studio
- Assign lessons and materials to instructors
- Develop a strong sense of community and collaboration between staff members
- Maintain contact with customers and is attentive to their needs
- Maintain a safe, secure environment for both customers and employees
- Ensure that all instructors comply with the Core Values of Kids Stem Studio
- Manage all staff to ensure that instructors are prepared for weekly classes
- Inform the Director of any persona, material, or supply issues
- Fulfill instructor rolls as needed
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Completed Bachelor’s degree,
- Degrees in the fields of Education, Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or Physics preferred
- Strong decision-making skills
- Familiarity or willingness to learn programming and engineering.
- Must be good in working with kids and provide leadership, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Outgoing personality with a passion for teaching and management
- Experience working with children
- Experience in administration, management and/or customer service.
- Receptive to feedback
- Passion for science, technology, engineering, and math highly desired
- Take on all Instructor responsibilities as needed.
- Must be available on Tuesdays and Thursdays 3:30 pm to 7 pm and Saturdays 9 am to 1:30
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
