AddressSimply Right has an immediate opening for anArea Manager. Our Area Manager supervises the janitorial operation performed in movie theatres daily. The Manager is responsible for planning, assigning, and supervising the work of their employees. Ongoing training for current and all new employees on their teams is mandatory. Janitorial Workers will be engaging in cleaning and minor maintenance tasks. All Area Managers will be documenting and reporting to Regional Leaders with operations statuses. The Area Manager is required to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
Essential Functions:
- Traveling to theaters in assigned areas to perform physical inventory of equipment and supplies.
- Keeping time and attendance records of staff.
- Prepare written disciplinary actions, memos, and employee performance appraisals.
- Reviews all areas of theaters, including lobbies, game rooms, hallways, restrooms, auditoriums and concession areas, stairwells, and tenant locations for cleanliness and unusual activity.
- Checks equipment for the proper working condition.
- Respond to requests of Regional Leaders.
Skills and Abilities:
- Must be able to communicate in English and Spanish (written and verbal)
- Train others to properly use and care for vacuum cleaners, floor buffing machines, mop wringers, mops, brushes, cleaning fluids, and other materials and equipment related to the custodial care of buildings.
- Hazards and safety methods related to custodial operations.
- Perform physical inventory of equipment and supplies.
