Student Worker - Taco Bell Utility Worker (Fws/Nfws)

Position Summary/Purpose within the Organization:
The purpose of this position is to assist Taco Bell with a variety of tasks such as prepping food in the kitchen, supporting the production of food products that are required, remaining on the line when assigned, cleaning and sanitizing work stations, dishes and production equipment. Open to working multiple stations. Providing excellent customer service and team work.
Primary Responsibilities Related to Purpose:

• Sweep, mop, take out trash, wash dishes, and perform other tasks as needed.
• Make sure the unit is cleaned and in top shape.
• Maintain men's restroom in the back of the house.
• Organize and put food orders away.
• Maintain customer satisfaction at a level that ensures continuous return.
• Follow proper food handling procedures.
• Use proper equipment, wear appropriate personal protective clothing (PPE), and employ correct lifting procedures, as necessary, to avoid injury.
• Report work related accidents, or other injuries immediately upon occurrence to manager/supervisor.
• May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Equipment Used

• Perform duties with hot Equipment such as hot water, hot grills, etc.
• Usage of Flammable Chemicals
• Usage of scissors and box cutters to perform job duties
• Usage of a step ladder to change menu boards, clean surfaces, etc.

Qualifications:

• Must comply with any dress code and PPE requirements.
• Must be available to work lunch shifts between various hours of 11am-8pm, Tuesday - Friday
• Available to close minimum of 2 nights with weekend availability 9pm-2am.
• Has availability to work Monday and/or Thursday at 9am for delivery trucks
• Must be able to work weekday mornings, evenings, closing, and weekends. Hours of operations 7am-2am.
• Must have Maricopa County Food Handler's card.
• Must provide own non-slip shoes and black pants.

• Enrolled at GCU as a full-time student in a Bachelor's program or Master's program.
• Retain a 2.0 GPA as a Bachelor level student or a 3.0 GPA as a Master level student.
• Maintain good financial and academic (SAP) standing with the University.

You may be subject to termination if you fall below the minimum requirements.

Pay Rate: Minimum Wage
