Position Overview
The Strategic Sales Manager role is responsible for lead generation, sales, and budget attainment of assigned capital and consumable products into all assigned MTFs Military Treatment Facilities and Operational Units. This role will involve working closely with OEM counterparts to identify new sales opportunities and collectively close business.
Responsibilities
- Develop relationships and actively support each assigned care area within each assigned MTF Military Treatment Facility
- Develop relationships with SMEs in sleep medicine & research, pulmonary and anesthesia
- Become well versed on DoD product portfolio and how to successfully sell each product or service
- Develop sales pipeline that allows for annual budget attainment
- Demonstrate expertise in government contracts and advise customers on procurement options
- Promote assign products reimbursed by Tri-Care and other insurance payors
- Provide periodic forecasting for assigned products to leadership
- Participate in monthly and quarterly business reviews with manufacturing partners
- Actively update First Nation Group CRM and utilize to manage opportunities
- Participate in DoD related symposiums
Supervisory Responsibilities
There are no supervisory responsibilities for this role, however this role will be responsible for working closely with our Sales, Business Development, Marketing, and Contracts teams to effectively sell assigned products.
