The ServiceNow Strategic Accounts organization is focused on working with ServiceNow’s most strategic customers to unlock exponential value with the ServiceNow platform. We focus on growing this customer’s footprint in ServiceNow, while also ensuring the realization of key outcomes and value. The Strategic Initiatives team’s mission is to run and grow the business, bring together a community of cross-functional go-to-market team members that touch these strategic customers, provide customer intelligence, and drive forward the Executive sponsorship program and broader executive engagement. As a Strategic Initiatives Sr. Analyst in the organization, you will support scoping, prioritizing, and executing high-priority Strategic Initiatives to support our vision. Your work will give you exposure to the executive sales team and contribute to our overall strategy and help drive its successful execution. This individual should be able to dive deep into solving problems while maintaining a broad perspective.

This role is a full-time position; ideal if the candidate is in San Diego or SF Bay Area but flexible on location provided the candidate can work on Pacific Time and is willing to travel as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the creation of frameworks/playbooks, governance, strategy, and scoping for Strategic Initiatives that are critical for Strategic Accounts growth and success
  • Help scope and drive forward looking go-to-market accelerants expected to drive outcomes such as attainment, customer refereanceability and championship
  • Support and work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g. product, field sales, ops) to identify opportunities, unlock productivity, and accelerate execution
  • Structure complex problems, develop hypotheses, conduct analyses (both quantitative and qualitative), and make recommendations communicated in high-quality output
  • Proactively identify gaps or areas for improvement, while using appropriate tools to streamline processes where necessary

Qualifications


Requirements:

  • 5+ years of work experience, preferably in management consulting, investment banking, tech strategy, strategy and operations function, or similar
  • High energy, excellent problem-solving and execution skills, and willingness to do whatever it takes to deliver results
  • Effective communicator, able to convey complex ideas in a clear, concise manner both verbally and in writing; comfortable in business and technical discussions
  • Strong strategic and analytical skills i.e., validated experience with structuring and analyzing complex business problems
  • Ability to work independently on assignments and able to resolve issues that are blockers for team initiatives
  • Experience in building trusting relationships and influencing others (incl. executive audiences) and a collaborative team player
  • Self-starter who thrives and can multitask in fast-paced and often ambiguous environments
  • Experience in go to market within the enterprise software/ SaaS industry is a plus

For positions in the Bay Area, we offer a base pay of $144,200 - $237,800, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan and family leave programs (subject to eligibility requirements). Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located, and is subject to change based on work location.
