Reporting to the Global Strategic Initiatives leader, you will play a critical role in enabling a diverse and world-class Treasury organization that supports our dynamic and fast-growing business needs. As a member of the Global Finance team, you will bring treasury subject matter expertise and serve as a trusted advisor to the broader Uber team!**What You'll Do**- Lead projects and Treasury projects workstreams related to enterprise-wide initiatives.- Develop rigorous, fact-based, quantitative analysis to support recommendations.
Ensure strategic and financial soundness and alignment for any recommendations.- Structure and solve business problems, collaborating and coordinating with cross-functional teams to make recommendations on a range of business issues that impact liquidity.- Leverage risk management experience building out risk management framework, design and execution of risk reporting strategies and processes. Including business risks and financial risk profiles.- Performance asset and liabilities management assessement and stress scenarios testing.- Build unique, creative, scalable, and impactful solutions by integrating insights across team experts and supporting collaborative solution development.- Work closely with global and regional management teams on strategic projects, bringing timely insight and analytical support.- Communicate recommendations to executive, functional, or regional teams, and senior management in a clear and impactful way.- Participate in Treasury-related due diligence process for M&A activities, develop funding strategies, build out standardized integration playbook, and create a roadmap and standardized process for integrating acquisitions or divestitures.- Build working capital allocation framework.- Lead ad-hoc projects and support the execution of department-wide priorities and initiatives.**Basic Qualifications**- 5+ years experience in Treasury, Finance and/or related field- Bachelor's degree## **Preferred Qualifications**- Experience in developing and implementing Netting, Global In-House bank, or follow the sun Liquidity Structure- Experience in strategizes, develops, and implements communication strategies tailored to an organization's goals. Involved in crafting cohesive messaging across various platforms, managing brand identity, and ensuring consistency in communication.- Demonstrated critical thinking and analytical skills, with Treasury knowledge and experience and a proven track record in project management.- Outstanding organizational skills with an ability to lead multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, see the forest and the trees, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.- Comfortable with ambiguity and tight deadlines, with the ability to influence teams with competing priorities.- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including ability to storyboard presentations.For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$142,000 per year - USD$158,000 per year.You will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp.
