Strategic Account Executive
Travel Media Group is seeking a candidate to fill the role of Strategic Account Executive (SAE). The SAE is a front- line conductor of direct revenue generation, large account pipeline growth, and relationship management. The primary objective of this role is to ensure the successful acquisition, implementation, retention, and management of high-profile clientele. This role has a heavy focus on large-scale prospecting breakthroughs. The SAE will act as an individual contributor in revenue generation. This team member will report directly to the Director of Sales.
Responsibilities span the spectrum of revenue generation and assurance:
- Actively facilitate revenue-generating client meetings with appropriate travel
- Build and maintain relationships with strategic clients and prospects
- Positively represent the Travel Media Group suite of solutions
- Maintain and execute a forecastable pipeline to ensure sustainable revenue flow
- Work collaboratively within the sales channel
- Interact with Product, Development, and Client Success channels to ensure client needs are fulfilled
- Contribute to TMG profitability goals through direct selling efforts
- Educate prospects on TMG suite of solutions
- Assist in driving attendance to TMG educational webinars and podcasts
- Engage and share engaging Travel Media Group content on social media
- Act as a thought leader within the sales channel
- Attend conferences and events, when appropriate
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of the hotel industry
- Exceptional verbal and written communications skills
- High attention to detail, organization, and initiative
- Deep understanding of hospitality management company organizational function and structure
- Team player with a collaborative approach to work
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize based on the needs of the business
- Demonstrated success in large account relationship management
- Consultative sales process expertise
- Ability to travel, when appropriate
Education and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years of C-Level and/or large account selling experience is preferred
