The Power BISr. Data Analyst will collaborate with enterprise data engineers and business stakeholders to identify and acquire relevant data. They will use reporting tools such as Power BI to transform and visualize the data. By applying their expertise, they will deliver actionable insights to and enable the organizations to make informed decisions.
This role requires knowledge about financial concepts, how sales work in a services organization, and how to use data to create a narrative. The Sr. Data Analyst should understand data security and sensitivity, and incorporate these restrictions into the final solution.
This position will report to Charlotte, NC on a hybrid work schedule as determined by Stratascale management.

Includes, but not limited to:
- Develop and maintain PowerBI reports that align to requirements identified by stakeholders
- Produce solutions that enable others to perform self-service analytics
- Create reports that provide meaningful business value through easy-to-comprehend data visualizations
- Use suitable solutions to present reports after assessing the needs. (e.g. Excel, PowerBI, push vs. pull)
- Engage with the BI Stakeholder group by finding problems, areas for improvement or enhancement, and creative suggestions that drive innovation
- Manage the work by giving frequent updates on potential issues, obstacles, and deadlines.
- Assist users with problems and resolve issues independently
- Keeping pace with product news and industry trends as it relates to data analytics
- General team support as needed, which may include other operational technologies
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or technology or equivalent work experience
- At least 5 years of experience in data analysis (PowerBI preferred)
- Experience with manipulating, processing, and extracting value from disconnected datasets
- Advanced experience in PowerBI and DAX
- Understanding and usage of RLS and Power Query
- Understanding of Master Data concepts
- Highly-skilled in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent communication skills and enjoy coaching people in how to analyze and interpret data
- Leverages sound judgement when evaluating solutions and predicting outcomes
- Working knowledge of ERP, CRM, and other business operations systems
- Approximately 10% of travel required for business meetings
- The estimated annual pay range for this position is $110,000 - $175,000 which includes a base salary and bonus. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
