PositionSummary:

To provide analytical insights, tools, and support to the Enterprise to help achieve organizational goals. This position turns data into information to be used by leadership to guide decision-making.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Develop and create reporting packages, dashboards, reports, and monitoring tools for operational statistics and financial results to be presented to internal and external parties.
  • Explore the functionality and deployment of software tools available to automate processes, error-proof data movement, and provide for the accurate and efficient distribution of information based in data.
  • Supplement central information technology resources to ensure DDNC support for resources related to utilized software. This may include assignment of permissions, developing training materials, or developing SOPs to ensure updated data repositories.
  • Analyze, interpret, and communicate operational and financial results to management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, define metrics, and develop data-driven solutions.
  • Perform data import/export/manipulation/analyzation from various databases and sources.
  • Maintain documentation regarding ad-hoc projects, processes, and operations for finance and accounting.
  • Build predictive models and algorithms to forecast trends, identify opportunities, and mitigate risks.
  • Identify data anomalies and work with appropriate parties to resolve them.
  • Support company growth objectives through effective data management and communication skills.
  • Perform process assessments to look for efficiencies and automation opportunities. Asappropriate, lead the initiative to document, train, and implement changes to achieve efficiencies and quality improvements.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends, techniques, and technologies in data analysis and related fields.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in mathematics, finance, economics, data science or transferable field
  • Five years of experience with data reporting and analysis
  • Experience with multiple data query tools and robust knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools.
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with internal and external contacts as well as mid to senior level management.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in both an independent setting but also a collaborative environment.
