We are seeking a manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our warehouse facility. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader, capable of managing physical aspects in a warehouse environment that may include exposure to cold conditions during winter and warm conditions during summer.
Responsibilities:
• Operational Leadership: Direct and manage warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping of products.
• Team Management: Lead and supervise warehouse staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to safety standards.
• Inventory Control: Implement and oversee inventory management processes, ensuring accuracy, proper rotation, and timely stock replenishment.
• Facility Maintenance: Maintain a safe and organized warehouse environment, overseeing maintenance tasks and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
• Temperature Management: Manage and adapt to varying temperature conditions within the warehouse, ensuring the safety and comfort of employees while maintaining operational efficiency.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancement, cost reduction, and operational efficiency, implementing best practices to optimize warehouse operations.
Requirements:
• Experience: Experience in a warehouse type of environment. Cold in the winter and hot in the summer. A fast-paced environment. This is a retail type store in a warehouse environment.
• Physical Aptitude: Ability to work in varying temperature conditions (cold/warm environments) and manage physical aspects of warehouse operations. Able to lift 75 pounds. Ability to help customers load their goods.
• Leadership Skills: Proven track record of effectively leading and motivating teams, fostering a positive work environment, and promoting teamwork.
• Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage priorities, schedules, and resources efficiently.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to make quick decisions and address operational challenges effectively.
• Safety Focus: Prior experience with safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.
• Communication: Bilingual in Spanish/ English with strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with diverse teams and stakeholders effectively.
