They are one the largest local firms in their area and have existed for over 100 years. In this time, they have never done any mergers or been acquired, their growth has all been organic.

Their goal is to give you the support you need to work hard but have fun without any burn-out culture. Busy season hours peak at around 60 and again, this is total hours, not billable! They also offer a wide variety of benefits to help support you as your lives and needs change over time.
To be a suitable candidate for this position you will likely have your CPA or be working towards it.
You will need 3-7 years’ experience of direct tax experience – state franchise and income tax. As a Senior+ you will be 100% reviewing in this role. You will also have the opportunity to do some consulting work but around 80% will be compliance based.
They are advocates of having a successful public accounting career without sacrificing your lifestyle so you will be working a hybrid/flexible schedule and can be local to any of their Chicagoland offices with some travel involved across the offices.
