About JSBC:

• We are a US accounting firm that provides accounting, tax, and consulting services to private companies in the US.
• Our team is 12 people and growing!
• We are a fully remote firm and use Teams and other Microsoft tools to stay organized. We value strong computer and software skills.
• Our clients use a variety of accounting and related software systems: Microsoft (of course), QuickBooks Online, Sage Intacct, Gusto, Rippling, Paycor, ADP, and more.
• We use TaxDome and Drake for tax.

Position:

• We are hiring for a Tax Accountant.
• The job is fully remote. You will be required to work during US “CST” time zone business hours. You are also required to have your own computer and suitable workstation.
• The responsibilities will include preparing and filing 1040's and business tax returns, managing client relations, submitting business registrations, reviewing financial reports, reconciling accounts, posting adjustment entries, preparing reports, etc.
• You will be working directly with our firm partners and our existing Tax Accountant.
• We are growing while also constantly improving our processes, so you may be involved in novel problem solving, system design, or other tasks within the realm of tax consulting.

Preferred Prerequisites:

• 5 or more years in tax or directly related work.
• Enrolled Agent or CPA
• High knowledge of IFRS or GAAP.
• Experience analyzing, auditing, or reviewing financial reports.

The Process:

• Those with suitable CV’s will be asked to take a 10-minute aptitude test. This will help us identify strengths and weaknesses among our candidates.
• Candidates will be requested to participate in two interviews: A preliminary 15-minute interview to serve as a screening and an interview with the business partners.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
