This position is Limited Term and may be extended in 12 months with the possibility of becoming Permanent.

Under supervision of the Staff Services Manager I, the Staff Service Analyst serves as the assistant to the Forms Management Coordinator (FMC), Records Management Coordinator (RMC), and Government Claims Program Coordinator. The Incumbent performs a wide variety of analytical STAFF SERVICES assignments related to Forms Management, Records Management, and Government Claims. The SSA serves as a CARB Forms Management liaison with the Department of General Services (DGS) and provides consultative advice to CARB division liaisons as a subject matter expert to ensure CARB and CalEPA forms meet statewide standards.

Working Conditions

The positions at the CARB may be eligible for telework with in-person attendance based on the operational needs of the position under Government Code 14200 for eligible applicants residing in California, subject to the candidate meeting telework eligibility criteria set forth in the CalEPA telework policy and/or future program need. Employees not residing in California are not eligible for telework. Regardless of hybrid telework eligibility, all employees may be required to report to the position’s designated headquarters location at their own expense, as indicated on their duty statement.
