Roles and Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
Project manage all audit activities supporting SOC 2 and ISO certifications
Liaison and advise product teams in a governance capacity with defect remediation plans
Guide product teams on the design and implementation of an effectivecontrol framework considering people, process and technology
Define technology security requirements and communicate to system owners through effective security programs and training
Manage audit execution timelines balancing the changing requirements of new frameworks to business priorities
Influence product teams based on cybersecurity frameworks, control requirements, risk and intended outcomes
Maintain the strategic roadmap for initiatives and measure program effectiveness
Provide regular program updates to leadership
Establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders including product managers, external auditors/assessors and peer cybersecurity teams
Aid in the development and enforcement of GE Aerospace-wide policies & standards and assist technology teams with building secure solutions
Partner with product teams to encourage a security mindset throughout business SDLC processes from concept, implementation and operations
Maintain documentation of standard work and any exceptions for regulatory compliance
Be a thought leader not afraid to challenge the status quo
Desired characteristics:
Prior experience with SOC2 and ISO audit frameworks
Prior experience doing Lean or Six Sigma Process improvement work
Capable contemporary leader with extensive team working abilities
CISSP/CISM/CISA certification
Education Qualification
Bachelor's degree from accredited university or college with minimum of 4 years of professional experience OR Associates degree with minimum of 7 years of professional experience OR High School Diploma with minimum of 9 years of professional experience
Minimum 3 years of professional experience inCyber
Note: Military experience is equivalent to professional experience
