We are seeking a recently licensed attorney to help us represent disability clients. - Salary range is $50k-$65k annually depending on experience
As a Staff Attorney you will review & develop pre-hearing and hearing level cases, conduct legal research and write pre-hearing brief memorandums for disability hearings and appeals council briefs. Staff Attorneys will also respond to client questions and communicate with client via telephone and email at all levels of the disability process and represent clients at agency level hearings in addition to the workloads noted above.
This remote position is available for candidates who reside in one of the following states: AZ, CA, FL, GA, MD, NC, NJ, NV, NY, TN, or TX,and will also require travel to hearings in other cities and states.
To be successful in this role you will need:
- To be a law school graduate
- Licensed Attorney (or Licensed Pending Bar Results)
- Excellent legal writing skills
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written
- Reliability and dependability
- Knowledge of social security law is preferred but not required
- Ability to travel to and from hearings in other cities and states up to 80% of the time
- Must reside in one of the above listed states

- Land line telephone or good cell phone signal in home office
- Quiet home office with no distractions during business hours
