SalaryVeris Manufacturing (an Emerald Technologies company) has an exciting opportunity for a Staff Accountant to join its Brea, CA team! The Staff Accountant’s core function is to perform transaction-level activities related to cash, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable, and to assist the Site Controller in preparing periodic financial reporting

Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant:
- Assist in the month end / year end close to ensure timely issuance of the financial statements.
- Assist in the monthly balance sheet account reconciliations.
- Manage the accounts receivable invoicing and posting to general ledger.
- Initiate collections on past due invoices and resolve any issues.
- Research and resolve account receivable discrepancies.
- Process daily bank deposit and general ledger postings.
- Work late last day of month (includes Sat or Sunday) and the next 5 business days to close the books when necessary

Qualifications of the Staff Accountant:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- Minimum two years accounting experience
- Associate’s Degree may be considered with commensurate long-term experience
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Proficient in Microsoft word and Excel
- Experience working in the accounting modules of M2M or other ERP system
