Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- Fill out credit applications
- Obtain W-9 and enter in to QuickBooks -
- Process invoices from vendors & Schedule payments to vendors
- Contact vendors to request invoices, confirm rates, request adjustments
- Check monthly statements from vendors -Create expense claims, per-diem, and allowances forms
- Enter financial transactions into internal databases -Generate accounting reports
- Reconcile corporate credit card receipts from employees
- Initiate wire and ACH transactions and bank transfer
- Conduct monthly bank reconciliation
- Prepare bank deposit
- Review and record payroll transactions -Issue invoices to customers
- File and pay union dues
- Process certified payrolls
- Apply and update business licenses -File taxes
Requirements:
- 5+ years of work experience in accounting field
- Bachelor's degree -Strong organizational skills
- Good math skills and the ability to spot errors
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Proficient in MS Office
