Staff Accountant

Overview
Position Summary:
The Staff Accountant will be responsible for all accounting related to cash posting for the Confluent brands, including maintaining subledgers, entering journal entries, reconciling accounts, and analyzing results.

• Record daily cash deposits for 100+ accounts
• Reconcile bank accounts and completing Blackline reconciliations for audit
• Import all bank activity to bank reconciliation module and perform matching
• Journal entries to allocate expense due to cash withdraws to multiple entities
• Monitor and resolve all bank reconciling differences and stale dated checks
• Work closely with other team members to manage/cross train on other bank accounts
• Ensure cash is posted by 3rd business day of the month for close

1. Advanced Excel skills
2. Demonstrated knowledge of GAAP
3. Thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume, constantly changing environment
4. Ability to recognize when priorities need to shift
5. Ability to meet a constant stream of deadlines in a fast-paced environment

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
2. Minimum 1 years of experience accounting
3. Experience with NetSuite preferred
