Description:
Our SLU client is looking for a Sr. User Experience Designer to work on Family Safety features as well as other device related projects. The Family Safety feature creates products that bring peace of mind by helping people feel safer and better prepared, like Emergency Assist.
The UX Designer will work on new features and revisions to existing features. You will create elegant, intuitive user interfaces that meet unique customer needs. You will work closely with other designers, researchers, product management, engineering, data science and operational teams to successfully go from early stage product concepts to iterations and launches of new features and offerings.
Key job responsibilities
* Create world-class, user-centered designs through consideration of market research, business requirements, customer feedback, and usability study findings, These experiences will bridge voice, multimodal, web, and mobile applications.
* Collaborate directly with Conversation Designers and the Research team to ensure a consistent and delightful experience across all customer touch points
* Partner with the Product Management team to translate business requirements into use cases and high-level customer experience requirements
* Collaborate directly with Software Engineers to bring the resulting designs and vision to market
* Develop conceptual diagrams, wireframes, visual mockups, and prototypes
* Develop and maintain detailed user-interface specifications
* Present design work to the design team, product team, and leadership for review and feedback
Basic qualifications
* 8+ years of experience as an interaction designer, user interface designer, conversational designer or similar role
* Experience with Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, or their functional equivalents
* Have an available online portfolio
* Bachelor’s degree in Design or equivalent design-related field, or commensurate industry experience
