Who we are looking for:

The Sr Transportation Specialist - Dispatch Operations is responsible for facilitating operations by coordinating Dispatch Operations and dispatch tasks. This role utilizes processes and procedures established by the Transportation department to coordinate and manage transport orders, resolve complex logistical issues, and facilitate the seamless and effective operations of the ACV Transportation product. The Sr Transportation Specialist - Dispatch Operations partners with carriers, customers, and internal departments and Teammates to lead dispatch and Dispatch Operations-related assignments. This role performs duties with minimal supervision.

What you will do:

• Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
• Triage customer and carrier inquiries; coordinate and manage transactions and communications to provide timely resolutions. Refer inquiries or tasks to appropriate Teammate(s).
• Process, prioritize, and coordinate transactions to support Transportation operations, dispatching, and Dispatch Operations. Transactions may include assigning dispatch jobs, expediting Dispatch Operations surrounding transport orders, or assessing and understanding the needs of customers and carriers to ensure seamless orders; relegate and allocate transactions to appropriate Teammate(s).
• Maintain and manage relationships with carriers, customers, and internal departments and Teammates.
• Creatively resolve issues of highest complexity utilizing processes, procedures, and effective problem solving skills. Provide subject matter guidance to junior Teammates.
• Ensure accurate and proper entry and maintenance of records in Salesforce, load boards, and other related systems or platforms. Review systems to ensure goals and objectives are being met.
• Partner interdepartmentally with leadership teams to set objectives and maintain status of dispatching and Dispatch Operations. Connect with sellers, buyers, and carriers to provide continuous communication.
• Ensure transactions and records are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant. Validate team documentation by reviewing for accuracy, completion, and consistency.
• Identify opportunities for customer satisfaction, dispatch, and Dispatch Operations operations efficiency. Leverage systems to continuously lead solutions through the improvement of dispatch and Dispatch Operations.
• Monitor KPIs and objectives through varying systems. Collaborate with management and the Dispatch team to identify opportunities and develop processes, procedures, and solutions. 
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

What you will need:

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• High School Diploma or GED, Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum 3-5 years' experience in customer service and transportation, supply chain, or logistics.
• Complex problem-solving ability
• Dedicated team working skills, including both internally and externally
• Proven customer service ability
• Communication and organizational skills
• Sense of urgency and self-motivation
• Experience with business technology, including Microsoft Office or G Suite, and Salesforce.

Compensation: $22.50-$25.00 per hour. Please note that final compensation will be determined based upon the applicant's relevant experience, skillset, location, business needs, market demands, and other factors as permitted by law.
