Robert Bosch LLC seeks a Sr. Technical Project Manager (Multiple Positions) at its facility located at 15000 N Haggerty Rd, Plymouth, MI, 48170. Responsible for the overall Technical Project leadership of Electronic Stability Control device (ESP) and/or electronic brake booster device (iBooster) products within JOEM customer projects with vehicle destination to North America. Accountable for the technical success of the project. Lead a multi-cultural team composed of component managers, Function and Performance Developers who are in offices/test facilities around the world. Give guidance to other TPMs. Act as first point of contact for the overall technical development within the internal engineering teams, including software, calibration, hardware, and system. Act as point of contact for OEM in there as of E/E, Software, and vehicle performance topics. Ensure system and software development, validation, and delivery are according to guidelines and processes such as ISO26262, and ASPICE. Oversee vehicle application/calibration/tuning of ESP and iBooster algorithms based on established methodologies both in vehicle and lab/offline environments. Handle project and project documentation according to specified processes. Handle monthly reporting of project status to senior management in USA. Work package definition and tracking, release planning, resource planning, quality assurance according to Bosch Active Safety process landscape. Responsible for evaluating customer specifications including support of translating the system requirements into Rational DOORS (and related IBM based products), evaluating requirement and test coverage, and support of issue / defect tracking. Support vehicle test environment and lead both internal and customer meetings. Prepare and communicate technical presentations for the customer. 10% domestic and international travel is required. REQS: This position requires a Bachelor's, degree, or foreign equivalent, in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or a related field plus 5 years of professional experience in Technical Project management or project leading in the automotive, motorsport or heavy equipment industry. Additionally, the applicant must have professional experience with: (1) Applying knowledge of Vehicle dynamics or braking systems; (2) Calibration or Vehicle testing of ESP or related braking systems; (3) Performing release procedures including Design Verification Plan, FMEA and ISO26262 in automotive or related industry; (4) Systems Requirements evaluation and handling using IBM Rational DOORS; (5) Performing quotation for business by determining the effort and development cost; (6) Customer communication for schedule and open topic management.
