Welding Project Manager

Wright Technical services is representing a top ranked system integrator looking to add a Project Manager to their team. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the successful integration of robotic systems into various industrial applications. This role will involve managing the project timeline, coordinating with various stakeholders, including clients, engineers, and technicians, and ensuring that the robotic systems are optimized for maximum efficiency and quality output. this individual will be passionate about cutting-edge technology and have a strong project management background.

Position Summary:

Candidate will work out of Shelby Twp. Michigan facility and will report to the Group Business Unit Manager. Candidate must demonstrate the following to be considered:

• Experience of working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
• Manage all aspect of Mid to Large scale, complex or significant engineering project, from start to finish, so that it is completed on time and within budget
• Overall accountability for design / build / install projects – able to manage multiple projects.
• Responsible for project financial results including performance to budget, cash flow, change management.
• Accountable for on-time delivery.
• Leadership skills including leading technical teams (Robotics, Mechanical and Electrical)
• Travel required between other build / manufacturing sites (USA & Mexico)
• Ability to provide weekly reporting to senior management team via spread sheet matrix, project timing summary, internal company open issues matrix, etc.

Requirements:

• Minimum of (6) years' experience in project management.
• Technical Degree.
• PMP certification preferred but not essential.
• Strong communication and organization skills.
• Proficient at Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of robotic welding and mechanical joining processes, layout, equipment, tooling, process design and material handling systems.
• Minimum of (3) years' experience in robotic systems:
• Prior Project Management experience
